1) Who we are
Sahara International Business LLC ("Sahara", "we", "us") is an Odoo services provider based in the Sultanate of Oman.
We provide ERP implementation, customization, integration, training, hosting advisory, and ongoing support services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data in connection with our business and services.
We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the Oman Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) and any implementing regulations, and where relevant, other laws in jurisdictions where our clients or users are located.
2) Scope and roles
This Policy applies to:
- Visitors to our websites and digital channels;
- Prospective and current clients, suppliers, and business partners;
- Individuals participating in our events or marketing;
- Job applicants;
- Client end‑users whose data we may process while delivering implementation/support services (see “Processor role”).
Controller role. We are the data controller for personal data we collect for our own purposes (e.g., website analytics, inquiries, proposals, contracting, billing, and recruitment).
Processor role. When we handle personal data on behalf of a client (e.g., configuring an Odoo database, migrating legacy data, providing support, or hosting guidance), we act as a data processor and process that data only under the client’s documented instructions and subject to our contract and Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
3) What data we collect
The personal data we collect depends on your relationship with us and how you interact with our services. Categories include:
- Identity & contact data – name, employer, job title, email, phone, country.
- Business & contract data – engagement scope, purchase orders, contract details, communications, support tickets.
- Technical & usage data – IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring URLs, session logs, cookie identifiers.
- Support & project data – database exports, configuration records, test users, transaction logs, error traces, attachments you provide for troubleshooting or migration (which may contain personal data of your
